- International Recording Artist Michael Fredo moved from his hometown of Elmira NY, to NYC to study at the prestigious Professional Children’s School for the performing arts. Michael’s talent was soon noticed, and was cast as the lead male vocalist for the Duke Ellington Orchestra worldwide tour. Over the next four years, Michael toured the world performing in theaters and concert halls. One night in Los Angeles, Michael met living legend Quincy Jones. Quincy was so impressed that he signed Fredo to his first major label record deal where he went on to sell over 2 million copies of his debut album. Fredo’s music accompanied the Tommy Hilfiger ad campaign of which he became the model and spokesperson. Touring the world with Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys and N’SYNC. Michael loved his pop career but something about Jazz never left his soul. Michael Fredo is currently recording his big band album, American Classics, which features a full orchestra. Michael can also be seen weekly at New York City’s famed Plaza hotel on Central Park.
